NEW YORK, September 22, 2022 /CNW/ — Following a call for applications that attracted over 230 submissions from young creatives across 52 countries around the world, the Swarovski Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations Office of Partnerships, has announced the latest cohort and advocates for the second year of his Creatives. for the Our Future program during a special reception at the United Nations Headquarters i New York City.
The six successful grant recipients, whose areas of expertise span sustainable fashion and textiles, engineering, product design and biotechnologies, were chosen for their pioneering ideas and innovative approaches, which offer new ways to address today’s challenges from inequality social, climate change and unsustainable consumption. and production. The successful recipients will receive a €20,000 grant each, along with an educational program in collaboration with top institutions, tailored mentoring, and industry networking access with guidance from the Swarovski Foundation. The program engages advocates, leaders in their field, as master teachers and mentors to the cohort with the aim of empowering their vision and developing their practices to contribute to positive change for the benefit of the community, the environment and society .
Wednesday 14th September, the Swarovski Foundation celebrated the announcement of Creatives for Our Future recipients and program supporters with a special reception at United Nations Headquarters in New York during the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
